Nellie

I promised myself if I was going to write a blog I would have a schedule and do weekly posts.... HA!
I've already failed at the first hurdle and it's been nearly three weeks since I last posted - woops!

Anyway, the last couple of weeks have been really good actually. Mainly because of our new addition.

I bought a dog.

And she is all mine.

And she is SO CUTE it makes me want to cry!

So here she is
Look at her little face!!

Her name is Nellie and she is a toy cockapoo. She's a little monkey sometimes and does push my patience. I've had a diluted taste of motherhood and it is definitely rocky and I was definitely unprepared for how difficult a puppy can be. (Not something to do on a whim!)

Apart from her little accidents and her chewing, she's a dream. Such a sweetie and such a happy little soul.
I have Generalised Anxiety Disorder and do struggle a lot, but I feel like she has already bought light to this situation. I needed her and now she needs me.

She's a little fluffball of joy and the perfect medicine.

Family Sundays

Sundays are always family days. My dad works long hours and we only really get to see him on the weekend, so it's nice to have a peaceful day to spend  all together.

Sunday morning was beautiful so me and my dad took the dogs out on the common for a morning walk.

It was so crisp and wintry out but the sunshine made it  all look so lovely.

When we got home we ditched the dogs and gathered up the rest of the family for a trip to the garden centre. I love it there, especially this time of year. They have a HUGE space dedicated to Christmas and although some might say it's early, I love it. Christmas is my absolute favourite time of year and  looking at Christmas decorations is so exciting!

In the afternoon we all slobbed out a bit, catching up on missed TV and generally being lazy - what Sunday is all about!

Then that evening we dressed up warm and let off the rest of our fireworks that we didn't manage to get round to doing on Wednesday,

And finished the day off with a lovely meal followed by a GORGEOUS sticky toffee pudding that my brother made

We all went to bed with food babies!

I love days like this, they make me feel so lucky.

I have a feeling next Sunday will be less peaceful, we're travelling to Leicester to pick up a new puppy...

Hello

Deep breaths everyone, I'm taking the plunge (pun intended) and starting a blog

Starting a blog is something I have contemplated for a while. I don't know why... I guess I just enjoy talking about myself (and let's be honest, who doesn't?!), but it's probably mostly because I have so much more to say than I can fit into 180 characters (and for those who are interested in what I can fit, you can follow me on twitter - @lottiedeaks). Some of it might interest you, most of it probably won't. But really this is for me, to document my life as it is now - the irrelevant ramblings of a 19 year old Disney obsessive.

So I guess I start with, Hello. My name is Lottie. I'm 19, I'm an art student and have absolutely no idea what I'm doing with my life - seriously, I couldn't be more confused. So I guess this is me, figuring it all out, overcoming anxiety and rambling about it all in a tiny corner of the Internet.

In all honesty I'm not entirely sure what this blog is going to be dedicated too, lifestyle I guess. I'll just write about 'stuff', it might be good stuff it might be a load of rubbish. You'll just have to stay tuned and find out (love a bit of mystery!).

Ok I'll go now...

PS. Excuse the cringey name... I'm afraid I'm stuck with it now!
